Crema's Take
“Camp Cove is a thoughtfully curated midtown gem where precision meets comfort, earning devoted regulars with beautifully balanced breakfast bowls, creative signatures like their acclaimed Honeycomb Matcha, and standout dishes like the Sunrise Burrito that inspire genuine enthusiasm. The cozy space cultivates the perfect slow-sit atmosphere for meeting friends or settling in with a book, though its popularity means seating can be tight—a small price for discovering what clearly feels like Sacramento's best-kept coffee and food destination.”

Delicious food! Friendly service. Wish there was more seating, since it’s such a great place. Everything was delicious. Pleasantly surprised by the avocado toast. It had green peas, pomegranate seeds, and sweet chilies. The French fries were delicious too! Thin and crispy on the outside, soft inside, and a yummy salty seasoning.
Honeycomb Matcha is the best ive tried in Sac! The food is excellent as well, i recommend the Sunrise Burrito. Definitely one of my favorite spots in midtown now! Parking is a bit tough and the inside seating is very limited. Also, I wish milk substitutes were not so expensive. I couldnt find any menu pics so here are some from Jan 2026.
Camp Cove is truly a quiet gem, marked by precision and intention. I had the brekkie bowl, it is beautifully balanced; earthy, fresh, and comforting. All brought together by a perfectly cooked egg and a creamy, their house-made element that adds depth without heaviness. So delicious. 😋 Their ceremonial matcha offerings are exceptional. The honeycomb matcha feels indulgent yet refined, with a silky texture and gentle sweetness that never overwhelms the tea itself. Loved the Earl Grey matcha, it’s elegant and delightful, with soft hints of bergamot which lift the drink into something memorable. Overall, warm and kind staff, the cooking, precise execution, and a sense of calm sophistication make Camp Cove a place worth seeking out. An understated spot that leaves a lasting impression. ✨
I have been coming to Camp Cove for a while now, and I don’t see a version of my life where I don’t. I’ve had multiple drinks from here and have tasted a variety of food items from their menu and have yet to find a single flaw in anything I’ve had. The atmosphere super cozy and small town beach vibes. The seats are comfortable and the energy is there. The food is delicious and very different from what’s offered in other cafes. And the drinks are spectacular! Thank you Camp Cove for coming to Sacramento!
We ordered the brekkie sandwich, the veggie stack, a carrot cake cold brew, and a honeycomb matcha latte. The brekkie sandwhich was so good my husband nearly choked on it from wanting to eat it so fast. Bacon was thick and a little hard to chew through but delicious nonetheless. The carrot cake cold brew was refreshing and it really did taste like carrot cake with dark chocolate. The honeycomb matcha latte was delicious! It tasted similar to Offbeat's matcha, very rich in flavor and bigger size than Offbeat's. Love it.
