Tucked away in the charming Village at Balboa Park, Daniel's Coffee is an absolute gem—and their Biscoff Crumble Latte is a must-try! I stopped by on a quiet afternoon and was immediately drawn in by the cozy, inviting atmosphere with an outdoor seating. The Biscoff Crumble Latte had spiced flavor of Biscoff cookies infused into a smooth, well-balanced espresso, topped with a generous crumble that added a delightful crunch to every sip. Sweet but not overwhelming, it’s like dessert in a cup—but better.
Daniel’s Coffee is the one of the few, if not the only, coffee spots in Balboa Park. It’s a cute coffee cart located in the colorful Spanish Village Art Center that offers a variety of creative drinks. I got the lavender chai, and it was soso good! There were so many other drinks I wanted to try, so looks like I’ll have to go back for more. Even the worker at the botanical garden told us to try the drinks there, so that’s how you know it’s good. Try this place out! That way you can have a tasty drink while browsing the cute art shops there.
Enjoyed two drinks during our time at the Spanish Village Art Center - Large Decaf Peanut Butter Blended Drink ($9) and Honey Cinnamon Latte ($7). My husband said the latte was quite strong, but as the ice melted, it was delicious. The PB blended drink was so yummy!! Line was pretty long. They had several workers, and everything was made on the spot. I do wish the menu was more visible and included prices - it's placed right where you stand when you're ordering, so it's always covered.
☕️ Good coffee! 📍It is in the center of the square. So, if you wan to sit down, you’ll have to hunt for available table. 🧑🍳 Stuff is very nice and accommodating. Also, pretty quick to process the orders. So, don’t worry if there is a line. 🌳 Overall nice location to shop for local handmade items and have coffee at the same time.
Great Coffee, Variety, and Atmosphere! Daniel’s coffee stand is a fantastic spot for coffee lovers and more! They offer a wide variety of drinks, from rich coffees and teas to refreshing frappes and fruit smoothies. Also muffins, croissants, and other pastries, so there’s something for everyone. I tried the gingerbread latte, which was on the sweeter side—perfect for me since I have a sweet tooth, but something to keep in mind if you prefer less sweetness. Luckily, they also have non-sweet and sugar-free options. The coffee itself is high quality, smooth, and not acidic, which I really appreciated. The stand is colorful and inviting, the service is great, and the background Mexican music adds a fun touch to the experience. Definitely worth a visit!
