Crema's Take
“Kickstand is a vibrant neighborhood hub where exceptional breakfast takes center stage—think perfectly fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and those legendary donuts that locals rave about—paired with thoughtfully crafted coffee drinks in a laid-back setting that welcomes families, dogs, and cyclists alike. The food-forward approach shines through in creative dishes like Barbacoa Benedict and breakfast sopes, with genuine care taken on every plate, making it as much a destination for a leisurely brunch as it is for your morning coffee.”

I listened and got the donut, oh my gosh, best I have ever had! Loved the Barbacoa Benedict ♡♡♡ Definitely will stop here again!
I got the breakfast sopes and the bacon was so crunchy! Eggs were such a delight soft and and just airy. We got vanilla cuppacinos it was okay but breakfast was fantastic!
The food was tasty, and there were plenty of options for everyone. I do wish the Beyond Burger had more flavor elements to accompany it, but it tasted exactly how a Beyond Burger should. The massive burrito was impossible for my husband and son to finish, and they always clean their plates. The mole fries were delicious, too. Everyone else wiped their plates clean, so I’m guessing that’s a good sign.
KickStand Coffee & Kitchen – Hood River, Oregon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visiting Hood River We had breakfast here on Thanksgiving morning — one of the few places open, and we’re so glad we stopped in! The coffee was fantastic — rich, smooth, and full of flavor. I ordered the Omelette Mexicana, and my partner had the Breakfast Burrito — both were absolutely amazing and generous enough to share. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The place is spotless, with a welcoming atmosphere that clearly reflects pride of ownership. The staff was friendly and upbeat, even on a holiday morning. If you’re in Hood River, highly recommend KickStand for great food, great coffee, and great vibes.
Three cheers for Kickstand! This place has to be my favorite vegan-friendly brunch spot in Hood River. Bonus points for bike culture, they are connected to a rad local bike shop too. If you are visiting, be sure to check out their Gorge Guide, it has lots of great ideas for activities in the area. Looking forward to coming back here on our next Hood River vacation
