Crema's Take

Foolish Things Coffee is a beloved Tulsa gathering spot where the espresso-focused drinks shine with smooth, well-balanced flavor—think excellent vanilla lattes and phenomenal dirty chais—and the expansive, window-filled space feels equally suited to solo laptop work or anniversary celebrations with someone special. The whimsical, welcoming atmosphere and creative signature drinks have clearly earned fierce loyalty from regulars who return year after year, though service experiences seem to vary depending on who's behind the counter.

I’ll start by suggesting what to get; get in your car and go somewhere else. My wife and I had our wedding reception here, and since then have come back every year on our anniversary. 7 years straight, each experience being worse than the one before. This time (our last time) my wife’s breakfast bowl was not only cold, but genuinely tasted like someone dumped half a shaker of salt on it. Her tea which she ordered honey with, tasted like hot water. So if you want that same flavor profile, I’d suggest standing under your shower head and drinking that as it will be cheaper. We have great memories here, but unfortunately will not be returning.

I stopped in for the first time today and ordered a vanilla latte with caramel and cinnamon, and it was excellent. The coffee tasted smooth and well-balanced—no burnt or bitter flavor at all, which is a huge factor for me when choosing where to get coffee. What really stood out, though, was the staff. There was a guy and a girl working, and both were incredibly friendly and helpful for a first-time customer. They take your name when you order, but what impressed me most was how intentional they were about making customers feel valued. As I was leaving, the guy working said goodbye and used my name—something you don’t experience at many places anymore. That small detail made a big impact and is honestly enough reason for me to come back. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, the atmosphere was welcoming, and I truly have nothing negative to say. I’ll definitely be returning!

Love the big windows and the atmosphere of the place. The barista made a phenomenal dirty chai for me. And the whimsical cashier was very kind and helpful. Will definitely be back for the drinks and stay for the vibes.

I came to this coffee shop as an out-of-towner, and had looked at no reviews before entering. The space that welcomed me was large, and very busy with many people on laptops, meeting friends, and playing games! The decor was alright, no comfy couches or varied seating, just seemed like it was set up for large amounts of people. I went up to the counter and was greeted by a worker who waited patiently while I scanned the menu. I saw they had cheese quesadillas for $7 so I thought that would be a good brunch item. I also ordered a vanilla latte. I found one of the few seats next to the window. When my quesadilla arrived I almost laughed because I guess they weren’t lying! But for the price point of $7 and what I got, I had to double check I didn’t accidentally order off the kids menu! No garnish, no salsa, nothing but one basic flour tortilla and some generic melted cheese. I’m not saying I got anything incorrect but wow the quality was low. The coffee was ok. A bit of a weird taste but I won’t claim to be a coffee connoisseur. This place might have better food options, but I’m here for one day and am not gonna order more to see. Good atmosphere, everything else is to be determined because my first impression was…mid. $18 including the tip, maybe just stick with coffee here? Some of these reviews seem a little staged.

Poor customer service, our cashier was sarcastic and mocking customers? Very odd experience. The food itself is a scam. They put the tiniest breakfast scrambles in the biggest box they can find. Never again. And a smile isn’t necessary, but the woman making coffees could certainly go throughout her shift without shooting mean mugs to customers. Not sure how they expect to keep a cafe open with attitudes like such. Highly recommend the donut shop to the left of the counter. The lady had wonderful customer service and was understanding when we wanted to look at the menu first, as we aren’t from the area.
