Gotcha Tea

Went to order a non-caffeinated tea, the cashier informed me it was the Strawberry Sunrise. I declined and told her I don't want strawberry tea with caffeine. The way she was explaining the beverage to me twice after she already informed me was passive aggressive. I know now I was looking for the drink she insisted was decaffeinated. Considering the way she answered back, I felt uncomfortable to go back inside. After I left, she gave a sigh of relief helping the next customer. I don't feel comfortable being in an environment where people dont have patience. I won't return.

Nice decorations. Clean. Few seats. Plenty parking spots.

Sad to say goodbye to Gotcha Café in San Diego! Your amazing tea, rich matcha drinks, and unforgettable spicy mango shakes made every visit special. Thanks for all the delicious memories—your flavors will be missed! Wishing the team all the best on their next adventure. I will be back when I have a chance.

Had lunch at the restaurant next door and decided to grab a wintermelon fruit tea with boba here. It was a weekday and nobody was in the store. The girl who helped me was nice. She had to make more boba so I was told it'll be a few minutes longer than usual. The tea was good and wasn't too sweet like other places. The boba was soft and chewy. The place was very cute inside with small little tables and chairs for customers.

Loved Gotcha Cafe! Such a cute store with friendly staff. Really fun having the stuffed animal crane machines. We ordered a strawberry and Paris milk tea and they were super yummy. The store is also dog friendly. Definitely recommend if you are in the mood for some boba tea!
