Bluebeard Coffee Roasters

Crema's Take
“Bluebeard's soaring ceilings and exposed beams create an inviting Tacoma landmark where serious coffee lovers and business folks alike linger over meticulously prepared espresso and their signature nitro oat milk latte on tap. The in-house roastery crafts surprisingly distinctive flavor profiles you won't find elsewhere on the West Coast, paired with excellent pastries and plenty of space to settle in for work or conversation with friends.”

A great place for properly prepared coffee, kind baristas, and friendly neighborhood folk. I often bring my clients here to enjoy a cup and chat about business. Their nitro oat milk latte on tap is fantastic, but my favorite is the La Pistola, think slightly spicy mexican chocolate mocha.... yumm! Drop on by and make some friends.
This is one of my favorite aesthetically pleasing coffee shops The high ceilings, exposed beams, eye catching spresso machine and earthy atmosphere gives the Tacoma vibes. Fun fact: They roast their own small-batch coffee right here in the city. Opened in 2011, Bluebeard has grown into two beautiful locations. Definitely worth checking out next time you're in town!
It’s got a large space inside with many benches to sit and work at. The coffee menu is concise and they have an array of baked goods from croissants to muffins and plenty more. I got myself an oat cappuccino and brown butter blueberry muffin. The muffin had this really good caramel taste and it was very soft. The coffee was good, i didn’t taste any acidity. It is a well lit coffee shop, with big glass windows - I enjoyed my visit.
Nice little coffee / pastry shop. Good area to work and hang out. Nice location to meet up with people as well. The croissant and the brioche were pretty good (they said they were stuffed but the filling was not really in it). Coffee was good too.
Latte art 8/10, taste 8/10, atmosphere, 7/10. Tacoma’s premier rostery did not disappoint, bringing out some amazing flavors which are surprisingly rare on the west coast. Served with sparkling water which is always 👌. Atmosphere was a classic industrial setting, a tad crowded for a weekday. Only qualm was baristas forgot to make our drink, but quickly made once reminded.
