Crema's Take
“This cozy brick coffee shop in Minneapolis is a rare find where every purchase directly supports veterans and their families, with 100% of proceeds going to benefit the community. The skilled staff crafts thoughtful espresso drinks and creative specialties like their praised dirty chai, while also offering a beloved coffee flight experience that keeps regulars coming back. It's the kind of intimate, parking-friendly spot perfect for lingering over an exceptional cold brew and a pastry, knowing your morning coffee is making a real difference.”

Had a lovely coffee flight, delicious and affordable! Today was my first visit and I will be back, love that my coffee purchases help support veterans!
Love Rick’s! The staff and mission plus yummy coffee, what’s not to love. Got a dirty chai today per staff suggestion, haven’t had one in years and my life has been changed. Highly recommend. Just the right amount of sweet, Mwa! Also treated myself to a savory croissant.
The cold brew coffee was exceptional. Food options are pretty limited, mostly backed goods. If you're into coffee and sweets you'll probably love this place. Lovely little brick bldg, clean including restrooms. So doing a lot of things well. However given the limited food options and kind of grumpy guy working there I am surprised they have 4.7 stars, more like 3.9 to 4 in my opinion. The waffle egg bacon wrap thing I had was almost gross. Rubbery bacon and waffle. This is a hard one to rate, they are doing so much well, but that waffle thing was disgusting and the server was a grump.
Very nice coffee shop. Small and cozy. The best part is their support of veterans. Believe it or not, 100% of their proceeds go to benefiting veterans and their families. They are tied closely with Every Third Saturday. Come support them. They make great drinks! Notables: free wifi, accessibility ramps, couch, table, and bar-height stool seating all available, fireplace, some food, discounts for veterans.
I heard about this place from #twincitiescoffeetour and had to put it on our list. The staff was friendly, it's a great space and it has a great mission! In all of my excitement, I forgot to take photos of the coffee 😑☕🙄. Trust me when I say it's good. We want to go back when the weather is nice to enjoy their dog 🐾 friendly patio.
