Crema's Take

Ramona's is a beloved neighborhood gem in San Antonio where the coffee takes a backseat to an exceptional attached bakery and authentic Mexican breakfast—think perfectly made breakfast tacos with housemade flour tortillas and killer barbacoa that keep locals coming back. The intimate, no-frills atmosphere and genuinely warm service create the perfect spot to linger over a traditional café con leche and pan dulce, or grab something quick before heading out. The reasonable prices and homemade quality of everything from the salsa to the pastries make this feel less like a coffee shop and more like your tía's kitchen.

This food was delicious. I'll be going back soon plus they have a bakery attached to the cafe.

We went for breakfast tacos at Ramona's. The service, tortillas and salsa were excellent. The menu is basic and the prices very reasonable.

First time here, ordered a potato and egg taco on a flour tortilla to go. The customer service was awesome. Friendly people the place is a typical neighborhood restaurant. The flour tortilla was good the potato and egg not so much. It was bland and it seemed it was pre cooked so the eggs did not taste good. Overall, I have no doubt that the local community will continue to support Ramonas restaurant. Best of luck! 🙏🏽🥰

Service was good, atmosphere was a little warm inside. Small quaint place. The food made up for all that. Even though they put like 2 shreds of cheese in the taco she came back with a small order of cheese for the kids. My chilliquiles were fantastic. The boys bean and cheese were delicious so they said. And my boyfriend’s bacon and egg plate was awesome. We went next door to panaderia and man they were friendly and the selection was a bit scare but still enough for us to choose a couple of delicious pastries. Thank you guys.
