White Rock Coffee - University Park
6715 Hillcrest Ave, Dallas, TX
Crema's Take
“This University Park location has mastered the art of the welcoming espresso bar, where you'll be greeted warmly the moment you walk in and can expect an excellent, no-fuss Americano or pour-over that lets quality beans shine. Manager Frida's creative touch transforms the space with thoughtful seasonal decorations and genuine care that sets this spot apart from other White Rock locations, making it feel less like a chain and more like a neighborhood favorite. Whether you're settling in for a slow sit with a smooth cup or grabbing a pastry like their beloved Apple Butter Kolache, the combination of solid traditional coffee craft and real hospitality keeps people coming back.”

Comfy and friendly. Good place to have a cup of coffee.
Excellent coffee providing a smooth and strong finish. The proactive and kind greeting also provides a nice welcoming tone. A must try - Apple Butter Kolache.
White Rock Coffee in University Park makes an excellent Americano — hot, delicious, and just the way it should be. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in, and everyone at the register was friendly, which set a positive tone right away. The shop itself was very crowded and felt a little rigid, but that’s understandable given its popularity. Parking was tough because of the ongoing street construction, so this location isn’t the easiest to linger at. That said, the quality of the coffee and the friendliness of the staff make it worth the stop. I’d recommend this spot if you’re looking to grab a great coffee to go, especially if you’re in the area and don’t mind the tight parking.
Absolutely LOVE Fridas creativity with the decorations and cant wait to see what she’ll do for Christmas!!!! I have never seen any other white rock managers take the same initiative that Frida has. My whole family comes in almost daily because of the cozy environment and inviting staff!
This is a great breakfast spot and a must hit when I’m in Dallas. Their black coffee is pretty good, which is great because I’m not much for sweet coffee drinks, but they do have a good selection of them and they are delicious. I mainly go for the pastries, which are fantastic. Their homemade pop tarts are my favorite and way better than the original, but you can’t go wrong with their coffee cake or scones which are also delicious. Also the music selection is great too.
