New Cafe 40

New Café 40 has become my go-to spot in the building. Great coffee, really good breakfast and lunch options, and the staff is always friendly. It’s the perfect place to grab a quick coffee or sit down for a bit and get some work done. I’ve even had a few client meetings here because the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Probably the best breakfast burrito I've ever had and the biscuits and gravy are in my top 5 (I'm quite the connoisseur). I probably should've written this review a while ago but it just kept slipping my mind. This place is located at the Morton (eg-Morton salt) building in Corporate Woods. I work at another building in the area with a cafe but come here at least once, if not twice a week. Don't let the location fool you. As someone who's pretty good at eating and judging food with zero cooking skills, I honestly do not have a clue what he does to the burrito, but it's fresh, full of flavor, and everything is perfectly balanced. Just wow. The biscuits and gravy are decadent, rich in flavor -- not just a batch of gravy-flour with salty sausage. Whatever he does to that, I have no clue either, but good lord it's good. Also, the owner, Daniel, is a real down to earth guy and is super positive. He gave me a rundown of his schedule one time I was in and it humbled the hell out of me. This guy deserves a Michelin star for his quality.

Do you ever go to buy fruit at the grocery store and it all sucks? It is because Cafe 40 probably goes and steals all the good fruit for their customers :) I don't know how he does it, but for the 1+ year we have been in Corporate Woods the fruit is always succulent, the consistency is unreal. All the breakfast good is great, always cooked perfectly, big fan of their lunch sandwiches too!

Delicious hot food. Made to your liking, we added egg to our cheese steak and got the egg on the side for the avocado toast. Everything was delicious even for my picky Eaters. Very quiet hidden treasure.
