Jacob's Java

On March 3rd 2026 I had a horrible experience at Jacob's Java on 17th and Ray... I ordered my usual drink a large smoothie for $6. She didn't hand me the clipboard to sign I tipped her $2 when I got out on the road two blocks away my bank alerted me that my the text had gone through and they had charged me $7.20. this is fraud they tip themselves 20% this is not right this is a scam and then willingly take my extra $2 for a tip? I went back to confront them they acted all innocent they had no idea what I was talking about which is bullshit. Eventually they gave me my $1.20 back and my $2 tip back they were very offended they had no idea how it turns to 20% tip on its own. I am elderly and disabled I live on disability and they can't be doing this to people I won't be back I vote with my money

Why have a walk up window if they arent l allowed to make your order untill basically your place in line if you were to go through the drive through...it really felt as tho because they knew the regulars in line they focused on them first. .. ive been comming to this stand since they were built and never once heard that "rule" or in my opinion excuse... Sorry for the bad review.. but im beyond disappointed in this change

Everytime I go, my drinks are amazing, the baristas are so friendly and sweet, and prices are not bad by any means. Those girls always are in such a happy mood and keep conversation! They deserve all the credit for why I come back.

Support Local Business! Absolutely the best coffee in Spokane. Their prices are great, services is quick and they do a great job. I've been going to Jacobs across Spokane for over 20 years. If you've never been it's really worth the trip. In all the years going I've never had a bad experience or have an issue come up that wasn't immediately remedied.
