House of Many Porches
701 Palmer Dr, Raleigh, NC
Crema's Take
“House of Many Porches is a uniquely versatile spot where you can grab coffee, beer, or wine and settle into one of many shaded seating areas—whether that's a rocking chair on the porch or a spot overlooking the nearby park. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming for everyone from families to dogs, with a rotating food truck scene (think fresh donuts) and enough pastries and snacks to make it a genuine gathering place rather than just a quick caffeine stop. It's the kind of place that feels like a peaceful escape, especially on warmer days when the outdoor seating really shines, though reviewers also praise how warm and cozy it becomes during winter months.”

It's cool to be able to get a beer or a coffee and walk around the park. Nice warm place to heat up if you're cold. The coffee is made by an automatic machine, like the one at Wegmans. It's not bad at all, just be aware. If you have kids: the hot chocolate is very disappointing. It's just the hot water + packet kind, not milk, and it's not very good and it's very hot. You would expect milk based hot cocoa for the price. Lots of disappointed kids.
Drink was delicious and price was not bad. Small store where you can buy snack, coffee spot to buy coffee and ice cream. There were sitting areas inside and rocking chairs outside. The only thing I didn't like about indoor sitting was no trash can and there were tons of flies buzzing around. This is located at Gipson Play plaza.
cute spot that's nice and warm in the winter, with a wide variety of beers and energy drinks available. when the weather is nice there are plenty of chairs surrounding the cafe to kick back and relax. biggest problem is the Wi-Fi, while it's fast, it's government Wi-Fi and blocks pretty much 90% of the internet. practically useless... additionally, they do not accept cash.
Very cool place. Coffee, beer, wine and refreshments. Had a donut food truck around the back when we went. And, many shaded areas to sit. Great for kids.
Perfect peaceful little oasis! A slice of heaven with excellent air conditioning. Free water bottle refill station is so cold and refreshing! Great coffee and treats for kids adults and fur babies alike. The tables and chairs out back are fully shaded by the big trees, it’s just lovely.
