321 Coffee - Downtown Raleigh
615 Hillsborough St, Raleigh, NC
Crema's Take
“This intimate downtown Raleigh spot punches well above its weight with bold, flavorful espresso drinks that let the coffee shine through—whether you're ordering a cinnamon roll latte or a perfectly pulled americano. The cozy atmosphere and genuinely warm staff make it feel like the kind of place where everyone's treated like a regular, though you'll want to arrive early or grab a seat outside since seating is delightfully snug. It's the rare coffee shop that manages to be both serious about craft and genuinely welcoming, making it perfect for a solo pour-over moment or meeting a friend over pastries.”

I can't here because of the 4.9 rating. The service was great, but the seating area is very limited. Maybe enough seats for seven customers inside. It was 46⁰ when I visited, and I had to sit outside. Coffee was okay. Cinnamon bun was not fresh.
This place knows how to do coffee! My husband got a hot cinnamon roll latte and I got an iced caramel americano. Both were delicious! Coffee flavor is bold and was definitely the star of both drinks - not too sweet! And the service was friendly and welcoming! Will be coming back and highly recommend!
321 Coffee is such a cozy little gem! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and everything on the menu feels made with love. I especially want to give a shout-out to Sam at the register—so kind, friendly, and patient. Sam made the whole experience even brighter with a genuine smile and great energy. It’s the kind of place (and the kind of service!) that makes you want to come back again and again. 💛☕
A cozy little café with a warm vibe and friendly service. I stopped in after a nearby run club meetup—it was definitely busy, but the staff handled the rush with a smile and kept things moving efficiently. The space inside is on the smaller side, so seating can be limited, and there’s no restroom available, which is something to keep in mind. That said, it’s a good spot for a quick coffee or chat with a friend. The menu is fairly limited, but they did have a couple of specials that added some variety. My drink was well made and hit the spot—nothing mind-blowing, but definitely enjoyable. Overall, it’s a solid coffee option downtown, especially if you're looking for friendly service and a quick caffeine fix.
This is a fun cute little coffee shop that has a great vibe to it! The staff there was wonderful and the one who helped me was so sweet with a huge smile on her face! The coffee was very flavorful! I wish I was able to go back during my trip to try the kombucha because that looked tasty!
