Crema's Take

This cozy Capitol building neighbor excels as a daytime gathering spot with genuinely friendly staff and a conversational atmosphere that makes it perfect for lingering over work or catching up with friends. While their coffee skews mild and approachable rather than boldly specialty-focused, they shine with made-to-order breakfast burritos, house-made cinnamon rolls (Wednesdays are special), and light pastries that justify a visit even if you're coffee-agnostic. It's the kind of place where locals feel at home and the vibe matters as much as what's in your cup.

My latte just tasted like milk. No coffee flavor at all. And the bacon burrito was bland and had something in it that tasted like cleaner. It was very strange. The service was super fast and very friendly though!

I ordered food, a veggie breakfast burrito, so I can’t comment on their coffee and drinks. The burrito was good, a tad bit small, but worth it for the low price. It did however take a long time to get it.This place is convenient for those that work in downtown for a place to get food and beverages in the early hours.

Great place to wait when going to any of the Marion County services located in the same building. The music was at a level that still allowed conversation and the staff was extremely helpful. They also have a few mugs and teapots that would make great gifts for the tea drinker in your life.

Only rating the coffee. Flavor of latte was mild, no strong bean flavor, creamy milk, or art just some large-bubble sea foam on top. The decor is cute, staff were friendly, just mediocre coffee. They did give a free chocolate covered espresso bean which was a sweet gesture.

Great coffee and atmosphere! Breakfast foods, sandwiches made to order, pastries, and homemade cinnamon rolls on Wednesdays! I didn't know about them until they hosted Joey Nations kickoff for the 5th Congressional District. Thanks for being patriotic, when downtown I will stop here for coffee!!
