Crema's Take

This Newark spot captures that cozy neighborhood coffee shop feeling where regulars and newcomers alike can linger over a warm meal and genuine Colombian and Ecuadorian breakfast—the kind that hits different if you're actually from those countries. The atmosphere is welcoming with good music and clean vibes, though service can be inconsistent depending on whether you're known or if you call ahead (which regulars recommend doing). It's the place to grab something quick before work or settle in for a slower sit with people, where the best days are when the kitchen's execution matches the authentic recipes they're going for.

Food is great, order served very Quick which I like people are nice.....great atmosphere. I like music people and all clean. I have to say. I've received very bad service in waitresses servicing giving service to others first who entered place after me. Happend . A number of times. Waitressed r very nice. I don't really think going to go anymore. Happend number of times

I had a disappointing experience at this establishment. The service was poor, particularly if you're not a regular customer. I had to wait a long time to place my order, as they prioritized those who arrived after me simply because they were known to the staff. Unfortunately, many items I wanted to try were unavailable. I ended up ordering the Morocho, but it was served cold (it’s typically hot) and was more liquid than expected, with only a few pieces of corn. Overall, I was not impressed and left feeling quite dissatisfied

Unfortunately the food doesn't have the quality and flavor that one expects. They have pictures on the menu but the food that you receive is totally different, it was my fault I didn't ask how the dish comes but if you see a pic you assume that that is what you'll receive. The waitress was kind and helpful.
