PERK Coffee & Community
628 N Rampart St, New Orleans, LA
Crema's Take
“Tucked next to Louis Armstrong Park in the Quarter, PERK is a cozy refuge for both serious coffee lovers and folks who just need a reliable spot to settle in for a few hours. The baristas here really know their craft—whether you're ordering a meticulously pulled espresso or a custom steamed milk tea—and the owner's genuine warmth sets the tone for a genuinely welcoming community space that feels as good for lingering over a pastry as it does for getting work done.”

This place is lousy don't waste your money. They are also bragging about not serving the nation guards because they are armed. These people are doing them a big favor being in New Orleans and helping protecting the people of new Orleans. I am sure they would rather home with their family than in the streets of New Orleans. I hope that perk coffee goes out of business for not wanting to serve the guards. I am definitely not going back to this place. And I really think everyone should boycott them. They should be giving the national guards free coffee instead of not wanting them in the place!!!
Nice little coffee shop. I just went here to have a place where I could charge my things in a relaxed, relatively quiet atmosphere. This place had what I needed - power outlets to charge my electronics, few people, and good drinks - got their Mardi Gras Special Latte
I’ve been to perk a few times! Its a cozy little spot next to louis armstrong park, the nail salon, perfect for a cute day in the quarter. Super friendly baristas. I can rely on perk for a great cup of coffee and good vibes 😊❤️☺️
We stopped into Perk Coffee with about an hour to spare before our evening ghost tour, and it turned out to be a great decision. My wife wanted a specific drink — tea made with steamed milk and the teabag dropped in espresso-style — and the barista executed it perfectly. She enjoyed it so much that we ordered a second round. The café itself has a very cozy, comfortable atmosphere, with a creative studio-like feel that makes it a pleasant place to relax. We loved the vibe and the friendly service. Overall, a wonderful stop with excellent drinks and a warm ambience. A great place to unwind if you are in the area.
I had to hunker down here and work on school during a trip. The owner was amazing and kind, the coffee was fantastic, and the muffins I had were delicious. The WiFi connection was great so if you need a place to do some work I recommend this one. Finding an outlet ti charge my laptop where I was sitting was easy too. Would recommend.
