Crema's Take

This beloved Key West institution has perfected the creamy-tart balance of Key Lime Pie with a distinctive tanginess that stands out among the city's many contenders, and the bonus of watching bakers craft pies fresh behind the counter adds genuine charm to the experience. While the space is tiny and unapologetically no-frills, the genuine warmth of the owners and their willingness to share their signature dessert in bite-sized portions makes it feel like a welcoming neighborhood spot rather than just another tourist stop.

3rd place we tried for Key Lime Pie here in Key West and this one is definitely the charm of all! A perfected flavor and a very reasonable amount of whipped creme topping. Also, we had the key lime pie that is frozen, dipped in dark belgian chocolate - Oh My - this could be addicting!! And we watched some of the work that the baker had prepared. Try every Key Lime Pie you can in Key West, but if you are limited on time skip the search and go here for what I would say may be the very best in flavor, hands down!

We had a very tiny piece of average Key Lime pie in a plastic container. Only one table. All take out pies. The owners were nice, but we've definitely had better key lime pie in many other places in Florida.

Key Lime Pie Bakery in Key West is a great stop for anyone wanting to try the city’s signature dessert. The pies are creamy, tangy, and have that perfect balance of sweetness with the tart lime flavor. They also offer other treats and products to take home, making it a nice spot for both tasting and shopping. The atmosphere is casual, and the staff is friendly, which adds to the experience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re exploring Key West and want to enjoy an authentic slice of key lime pie.

We ordered a key lime pie so everyone in our group could try it. The cashiers we're very nice to give us small plates, napkins, and forks. We sat in the store and ate our pie in a cool environment. Key Lime pie isn't for everyone. Its tart and rich and the "lime" comes through. Many of us enjoyed a slice and others tried a bite and that's all they could do. To each his own. This small bakery also has a small attached gift shop with many great options.

Super cute spot. You can see them baking their own key lime pies which is pretty cool. Their key lime pie is tart, seems more "lime-ee" than the others I tried so if you prefer tartness, this is your place. Their coconut key lime pie was soooo good! Recommend it.
