Crema's Take

Tucked into downtown Monterey, this vibrant cafe wins hearts with genuinely friendly baristas and creative signature drinks like their celebrated lady finger latte, making it an ideal early-morning stop before exploring the nearby waterfront. The light-filled space strikes that perfect balance between a proper specialty coffee destination and a relaxed neighborhood hangout, where you can linger over pastries and fresh-baked quiches while soaking in the warm, family-friendly atmosphere.

Very cute cafe in the heart of downtown. Service is friendly, coffee and food are great. Process are reasonable. We had the lady finger latte, flat white, a slice of the spinach mushroom quiche and morning glory cake.

Such a chill place that we stumbled upon our recent stop in Monterey. The decor is vibrant, the baristas and staff are so friendly. We tried 2 quiches and while they were good I wish it was fresher and the crust was crispier. The honey lavender coffee was absolutely delish! Come enjoy some delish coffee, walk around and enjoy some people watching.

Wasn’t what I expected based off reviews. Nothing I tried was bad, but not to my liking either. Same with my whole group it just fell flat. Always happy to try something new, maybe your experience or tastes buds will enjoy it more.

I wanted to like this place and had high hopes but unfortunately it fell short. The coffee was fine, the food was okay (the burrito wasn’t the best, but the quiche was pretty good!) the staff was kind but the atmosphere was weird and un appealing. The pictures show it, but we sat next to like a giant pile of old boxes full of random stuff. It seemed a little dirty too. Things just get really out of place here. I’ll be back to try again for a redemption review.

Such a beautiful spot to have a coffee, then a peaceful walk down to the warf. Had very pleasant experience service wise that I would definitely recommend stopping by before you think of going to starbucks. Got an iced latte and it was delicious! The seating area is also very nice from outside seating to sitting with plants in doors.
