Brue Coffee Shop

I’ve been here probably 5 times with different people. Usually I get what I want in a good amount of time and enjoy my food and beverage. The last couple times, however, took forever to get my food and they completely forgot about my beverage. This last time, I ordered a croissant with egg, ham, and cheese on it. Asked for tomatoes and, after checking the back and then the supply area, was told there were no tomatoes, so I asked for avocado and was told they weren’t ripe yet, so I settled with just protein. Then they forgot to make the coffee I ordered. I waited about 30 mins before I asked them about it. Thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt since they were taking so long with everything else. They’re super friendly, don’t get me wrong, but I think your weekends may need an extra set of hands if it’s going to take so long. I saw people walk out the previous time I went before this last time because they didn’t want to wait. Atmosphere is lovely, but wish they’d ask if we’re eating there or leaving because it would be nice to eat out of a mug and a plate while I’m there instead of the paper cups and containers. Love that they post the artwork and jewelry for sale everywhere from local artists. Overall, nice place to dine in with just a friend or two, but no more than that because it would take forever to get your items.

I went there to get a tea, and the cost was $6.50! For some hot water and a Great Value tea bag. This place is outrageous and the food/drinks are not worth the price at all. There are much better coffee shops on shore drive that don’t try to take advantage of their customers Update for the response from the shop: There was absolutely no way I was paying that much for a tea bag from Walmart, so I walked out. The employees were very kind. My comment is directly to the owners and managers who control the pricing and quality of the products put out. If you take issue with my review, do better

Coffee is amazing, vibe is immaculate. Prices are wallet friendly, especially compared to places near by. Great place to hangout and get school work done. Also, Liz is amazing!! My new local spot for sure, I will be a regular.

Brue 7/10 🍵☕️🥐 - Got the minty matcha omg so yummmy I finished all - also got the cinnamon toast which was ok, the bread didn’t taste toasted enough - Also got the peppermint bark delight which was supposed to have bark on top - small business, has lots of places to sit and great service!

The vibes here are IMMACULATE. The lighting, music, and art instantly relaxed me when I walked in. It just feels comfortable and safe to be here. The barista was very kind. I was looking for a coffee shop to visit to and from the Eastern Shore (that isn't Starbucks) and I think this is it. It is, however, a bit pricy. If you're trying to save money, this is not the place to go. But if you have some disposable income for a little treat, this is the place for you!
