Fresh Twisted Cafe
156 Eaton Rd, Chico, CA
Crema's Take
“Tucked into Chico, this welcoming cafe strikes a real balance between being a serious coffee destination and a genuine community gathering spot, with thoughtfully crafted specialty drinks alongside an impressive roster of vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options that feel like actual care rather than an afterthought. The Garden Croissant sandwich and fresh pastries pair perfectly with the creative beverage menu, making it the kind of place where you can linger for hours without feeling rushed, surrounded by local artwork that gives the space real character. Fair warning: quality can be inconsistent (some smoothies hit beautifully, others fall flat), but when things click, the combination of good food, welcoming energy, and chill-worthy atmosphere makes it easy to see why locals keep coming back.”

Totally wonderful environment. I felt welcomed and I really did enjoy my Garden Croissant sandwich. Cool getaway spot to Chill. TY.
Loved the vegan muffins and sandwich options. Vegan bacon would have been extra special though. Fries are delicious and the veggies are fresh.
Stopped in for a smoothly and a regular size was $12. For a smoothy and it was chalky and did not taste fresh as they say. A father ordered two smoothies for his girls and was stunned when he was told the price for them and walked out. This is an expensive place for food and drinks. I will not be coming back ever again. They sell dairy free items and food items but again price matters. Staff is not friendly at all. When you ask questions they act like it a problem to answer them.
Fresh twisted cafe is an interesting place. They have lots of gluten-free and dairy-free options. We got a burger and were disappointed with the 1/4 lb patty on a 17$ burger. I was also bummed that a place that advertises gluten free has breaded fries only. My cappuccino was great, and my wife loved her turmeric juice. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the menu setup was a bit eclectic. There are some interesting pictures on the walls which I enjoyed.
Their sandwiches are yummy! The artwork on the wall are nice to look at when waiting for the food. We got the strawberry banana smoothie and it was great. They did make a few mistakes with the sandwiches, my sister wanted hers grilled and they forgot, and they also forgot to put in the avocado in my sandwich. The lady put a refund for us for the missing avocado since it costed extra. I give this place 4 stars because it was a bit pricey for what you get. I liked that they have kid toys attached to the wall for kids to interact with. My lil nephew loved it.
