Tuscany Coffee & Deli
1600 Stout St, Denver, CO
Crema's Take
“This espresso-focused spot in Denver strikes that rare balance between serious coffee craft and genuine hospitality, with a owner who clearly cares about every customer that walks through the door. The atmosphere is perfect for settling in with your laptop or meeting a friend over a phenomenal pour-over, and the pastries and light food (especially their affordable bagel sandwiches) pair beautifully with their bold, traditional drinks. While consistency has occasionally wavered with orders, the warmth of the team and the overall experience keep people coming back to this hidden gem.”

Coffee is phenomenal, food is delectable and staff is super friendly. Great environment to get some work done and treat yourself to excellence coffee.
The staff is friendly enough but they’ve made errors my last visits and one lady makes me feel crazy when I point them out, for instance forgetting my tea or not giving me my side cream cheese. Mistakes happen but she confirms with cashiers lady like I’m lying. Today I order a half BLT and the bacon crumbled like it was paper and the beef barley soup tastes old so not worth $17!! I’ve been going here for at least 20 years and my experience lately has been odd to say the least.
The croissant wasn’t bad. And the latte was too strong for me, I like it softer( Your order is prepared quickly and you pick it up at the counter.
On our way in we stopped to check our directions and coincidentally bumped into the owner! His excitement about our interest was delightful but we were surprised to find the food and drinks were even more delicious! My girlfriend ordered the pictured croissant sandwich, chicken, feta goat cheese and a fresh pesto! Such an amazing but simple lunch. I ordered the Chicago AM Royale on a garlic bagel and I am nothing less than impressed by the quality of bagel and the complete flavor profile. We are on our way to start other adventures full of this tasty and satisfying meal. Great spot for coffee, food and friendly staff! Be sure to try this deli out.
This place is really a hidden gem in the uptown/downtown area. The bagel sandwich I had was delicious and really affordable, plus they didn’t mind serving me close to closing time. There’s even a wonderful outdoor seating area on the Sherman St side of the building!
