Being a college student, I LOVE this place. Best for studying, chill environment, amazing service and great menu. Personal favorites: shokupan toast with guava cream cheese spread and caramel white chocolate latte.
Food was delicious, as was the matcha (zen garden). Large portions for the price. Inside is beautiful - I couldn’t stay, but it looks cozy and comfortable.
I love visiting. Not only are the vibes immaculate (I mean, LOFI music playing many times I come in?) the hojicha is perfect. The staff is kind and welcoming, the air smells delicious, and the seating is comfortable and enjoyable. I sit and read, write, and study here often! There’s a nice comfort to entering a cafe that is aesthetically pleasing from sight to sound to taste, and to know that such care is going into the production of everything is also a delight. I highly recommend visiting and making Bonzai one of your regular spots.
Their drinks are very tasty! I ordered their strawberry and ube matcha, and as a Filipino, their ube was pretty accurate! I wish the ube itself was a bit sweeter tho. Otherwise, the strawberry matcha and ube matcha were both super good! I will for sure be coming back :) ♥️
