Crema's Take

Greenberry's is a cozy neighborhood spot where the espresso-focused coffee consistently hits the mark with smooth, bold flavors that keep locals coming back, and the staff's genuine warmth makes it feel less like a transaction and more like a conversation. The laptop-friendly atmosphere and thoughtful pastry selection make it perfect for lingering over a pour over or cold brew, though it's worth knowing that their specialty drinks can be a bit hit-or-miss—stick with their core coffee offerings and you'll understand why it ranks among Charlottesville's best.

I visited charlottsville and found this little and cozy place. Great coffee, great service, little but beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

Their hot chocolate was good, but not great. It was still better than Starbucks. The service was outstanding. I found the atmosphere better than Starbucks as well.

It took 10 minutes to get the cold brew I ordered. The cup was 75% ice 25% coffee. Menu price listed on board did not match what I was charged for ($5.30~ on board and $5.90 at register.)

Visited Greenberry Coffee Co. a few days ago and tried their chai latte. Unfortunately, it was just okay - not particularly impressive, but not bad either. However, the service was top-notch! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive.😊

Great place for coffee, top 5 in C’ville I’d say. I’ve only been to the location in Barracks, so I can’t speak for all Greenberry’s, but their coffee is consistently smooth, flavorful, and bold. Their nitro coffee comes in delicious flavors like toffee, vanilla, caramel, etc., and their flavored lattes are not too overbearing with the syrup - the espresso always comes through, especially in their hot lattes. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. Expect to pay ~$4-5 for a latte, and ~$3 for a coffee.
