Crema's Take

Tucked beside City Park, this warmly run café has earned its stellar reputation through genuinely exceptional service and a cozy, character-filled atmosphere where the owner greets guests personally. The espresso hits rich and satisfying notes, and the kitchen turns out standout pastries and crepes—like their praised pomme crepe—alongside a full breakfast menu that keeps locals and visitors returning again and again. It's the kind of place where you arrive for coffee and linger for hours, feeling genuinely welcomed in a way that makes you want to come back even if you're just passing through Denver.

My wife and I had breakfast today at Cafe Miriam, we had the best service and breakfast in a long time. Greeted right away with a warm welcome and smile from the owner, who guided us through the menu and was happy to make recommendations and suggest their daily special. We had the American croissant sandwich and chantille crepe. Both were exceptional and very fresh. Great conversation with the staff and owner and exactly the vibe we were hoping for on a sunny day off. This is the kind of place that well worth supporting, we can’t wait to come back.

I absolutely adore this café right next to City Park. The espresso is delicious and rich. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and full of character — the kind of place where you instantly want to linger. What really makes it special, though, is the hospitality. The staff are genuinely warm and attentive, and you can feel the care that goes into every detail, from the food to the service. It feels less like a stop for breakfast and more like a place you want to return to again and again. Highly recommend the cortado!

Perfect local spot for breakfast and coffee. We were in town for a few days and went a second time because the owners were so nice. The pomme crepe was a great combination of flavors, and a good amount of food. Lox bagel was nice to see at a small cafe like this and the cucumber slices were a nice touch. Highly recommend the Miriam's Mocha which is a bit sweeter than the normal mocha. One note, on paper it's close to the zoo but if you're walking you really can't cut through the park

Cutest warm & cozy coffee shop! Lox beagle, ice latte, and chocolate crape were all delicious and came out in a timely manner. The staff is wonderful. The owner came through and brought a new cortado drink to our table because he said based off the color it was made wrong. We had no complaints on the original drink and were surprised by his actions but boy was the second one ever better!! The small staff even stopped to sing happy birthday to a very young patron. Support small business!!

We were in Denver just to go to a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater to see Gregory. Alan Isakov. For morning coffee and breakfast, we stopped by this place and were so pleasantly surprised by the excellent crepes and coffee. It is owned by someone with Tunisian background and he named it after his daughter. They both run the restaurant together but she's in college right now. He was so friendly and had such professional staff working there. The food was delicious. The setup was simple but eclectic. And it's writing by a huge park in Denver, which is great for going for a walk after a good meal.
