Crema's Take
“This Saratoga Springs spot has friendly service and reliable cold brew, but reviewers consistently flag steep pricing that doesn't match the quality of execution—think $18 for a coffee, macchiato, and bagel combo, or $12+ for a basic breakfast sandwich. The sketchy practice of running multiple ghost kitchen aliases online to obscure the restaurant's identity raises real concerns about transparency, and the food itself tends to underwhelm with issues like sour fruit, underseasoned items, and poor attention to detail that suggest corners are being cut despite premium pricing.”

I really, really wanted to love this place. With such high ratings, I was excited to give it a try and support a spot that feels a little off the beaten path. I ordered the tuna wrap, which was just okay. The flavor was fine, but the wrap itself was very chewy and hard to get through, which made it less enjoyable overall. The harder part for me was the experience. The staff didn’t feel very welcoming, and when I asked about the WiFi, which appears to be free but requires a password from your receipt, it unfortunately didn’t work at all. When I mentioned how slow and unusable it was, the response was essentially, “Yeah, us too,” without much acknowledgment or apology. Since I had come in specifically to do some work on my laptop, that was disappointing. I truly wanted this to be my new go-to coffee shop, but unfortunately it just wasn’t a win for me this time. I hope they’re able to improve the service and WiFi experience, because it has the potential to be a really great spot.
I wanted to love this place. The man behind the counter was friendly, and ordering was quick. Unfortunately the prices were so high! An ice coffee, macchiato, and bagel w/ cream cheese was $18! My sisters coffee was all ice! ( they did do a refill since we sat and drank in the café, so that was awesome.) It's a cute place to meet up and maybe do some work, but it's definitely very hard to fathom the prices.
Overpriced. Sketchy. They run over a dozen scammy “ghost kitchens” online where they try and trick you into thinking you’re ordering from a different place. Overpriced mediocre food with undersized portions, they nickel and dime you to death on every little things. The owners of this place should be ashamed, but shame is clearly not a trait they have. Avoid.
I ordered the "The Caprese Panini - Fresh mozzarella, vine-ripened tomatoes, pesto, and balsamic glaze on panini bread." through the door dash app as this food place is hidden behind another name called the Panini Press - 120 West Ave Saratoga Springs, NY. First red flag is that the reviews on there are hidden, the SANDWICH (not a panini) was terrible to say the least. This was made on potato sandwich bread not panini bread (Italian bread) like they claim, they also DO NOT use fresh mozzarella and only use shredded cheese. They were not even capable of melting to show effort of hiding it. They also do not use vine ripe tomatoes and they use far too much salt! I took one bite and refused to eat the rest. Gross. For the worlds easiest 4 ingredient panini you could have done way better! & stop using someone else's photos of food they don't look anything like yours.
Over $12 for a BEC. Fruit was sour. Unbuttered microwaved bagel. $5-6 is more like it. Meat was best part.
