Coastal Bagels

6756 Gordon Rd, Wilmington, NC

Crema's Take

This locally owned bagel shop has won over Wilmington with consistently excellent, fresh bagels that work beautifully as both simple vehicles for cream cheese and hearty breakfast-lunch sandwiches like their bacon, egg, and pepper jack. The welcoming, casual atmosphere and attentive staff make it feel like a genuine neighborhood spot rather than a chain, though weekend mornings can get busy with both walk-ins and delivery orders. If you're craving a no-fuss, quality bagel sandwich with genuine care behind it, this is worth the potential wait.

Best bagels so far in Wilmington. Perfect size. But maybe a little too much butter on the outside?? Not sure. Just detect a buttery flavor.

Bagels are always great, some mornings on the weekends there is a longer wait but I think they get a lot of call-in orders from delivery apps. Good news is when you order a cream cheese bagel they give you enough to last a few more days 😂

Tried the bacon, egg, and cheese on plain bagel yesterday for breakfast and it was great! Came back today for the turkey and cheddar on poppy bagel for lunch and loved it as well. The staff working the register are so nice! They answered all of my questions about the eggs being fresh and the type of meat they use (Boar’s Head, my fave). The fries are awesome and plentiful!

Discovered this place on my way to work today! Locally owed, welcoming atmosphere, good service, and great fresh bagels! I will be back and highly recommend if you haven’t tried it yet.

Popular, friendly, casual take-out bagel sandwich shop. We ordered the bacon, egg, and pepper jack cheese on everything bagel, but the real star was the pesto, provolone, tomato, spinach, and cucumber on 8 grain toasted bagel and added the turkey, which I had warmed, by staff suggestion. It was served with a hash brown patty, which was nothing special, but the sandwich was very good, with lots of fresh spinach and just the right amount of pesto. While we enjoyed our late brunch sandwiches at the tables out front, lots of people came and went with pick-up orders and through the drive-through. Very polite and friendly staff with fast service. 4.6 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐
