“Fillmore Coffee Co. is really a breakfast-first operation that happens to serve excellent coffee, so come hungry if you want the full experience—their savory breakfast dishes like the scramble with squash, goat cheese, and beet chutney are what regulars rave about more than the espresso. The coffee flight and specialty drinks are solid, but the acai bowl is the item that's built something of a cult following, so order it unless you want to second-guess your choice. Just know the smell of cooking meat mixed with coffee can be overwhelming indoors, so request a patio seat if that bothers you.”
