This was a great find for a Sunday morning. The coffee was great (we had a café au lait and a cappuccino - both were on point!), and the bagels were fresh. The lunch menu bagel combinations were tasty and the pricing is fair. We also had a strawberry Italian soda, which was not overly sweet, slightly fruity and creamy with a hint of fizz. The French pastries were flaky and delicious! This place over a big chain coffee shop any day!
You walk in thinking you’ll grab a bagel and leave, and next thing you know you’re contemplating moving a desk in and learning the baristas’ names. The coffee is consistently excellent, strong enough to fix your attitude but smooth enough to not punish you for needing it, and the bagels are legit: chewy, fresh, and stacked in a way that suggests they respect both carbs and human happiness. The space is bright, clean, and calm without being boring, making it equally suitable for deep work, light gossip, or staring into the middle distance pretending you’re productive.
Love.. Love... Loved this place. First time visit. It's so cute and quaint. The ladies in there were absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed my bagel and coffee and I told them I'd be back on my next visit. Highly recommend it. Oh and they do afternoon Tea.
I love sipping a matcha tea or golden tea latte here and occasionally ordering their lox and bagel! The ambiance is delightful and their tea service is spectacular! It’s a great place to study, read, or chat with a friend or two! The staff there is attentive and sweet!
Maybe this is a good coffee cafe (it was fragrant with the smell of coffee when I walked in), but this is certainly not a bagel shop. I got a stale, cold bagel sandwich for $12! All it came with was eggs, avocado and cheese, and the filling didn’t even go up to the edge, leaving about a half inch ring of dry old bagel. Very disappointing as I was really hoping to find a good bagel shop in Georgetown.
