Crema's Take

Tucked into a historic downtown Tacoma building with refreshingly spacious, uncrowded vibes, Lift Bridge Coffee is a place where quality pour overs and creative signature drinks like their beloved Vampire Kiss are taken seriously. The thoughtful espresso work and welcoming staff make it a genuine destination for coffee lovers, though it's best visited as a grab-and-go rather than a workspace since WiFi isn't reliable. This is the kind of neighborhood spot that rewards a purposeful visit—expect excellent coffee, friendly service, and the kind of character that comes from being genuinely invested in what you're serving.

What to expect

Espresso-focused, with creative signature drinks, with a pour-over program, matcha and tea options too. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Pastries and light food on the menu.

No reliable WiFi and it’s in the courthouse building with limited seating options. I’d recommend going just to pick up a coffee but it’s not suitable for remote work or anything requiring WiFi.
