I ended up here based on a recommendation from Eater. My husband and I came by for a quick afternoon snack and we were greeted by some of the nicest people, including Steven. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. We got just a couple small bites, but everything was delicious. My favorite of the dips was the Muhammara.
So good! Lamb burger is juicy and perfect cooked. Every bite was tender and full of flavor. The fries were delicious, almost as good as Honest Burger. Less oil would have been good just so the fries wouldn't get soggy too fast. Flavor was perfect though. I got the muhammara, baba ghanoush, and beets for my dip sampler. All were good but the muhammara was the best by far. I would get just that next time.
Laziz Kitchen is a great place if you want to try unique flavors. We checked it out and weren't disappointed. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated with lots of seating. The service was great. Our waitress was knowledgable about the menu and helped guide us. We ordered the sampler dip plate and chose traditional hummus, beet and baba ghannouj as our dips. Our favorite was the beet but all three were very good. The baba ghannouj had a nice smokey flavor to it. They have alcohol on the menu and we ordered a Laziz Lemonade with champagne. It was an interesting drink. You could really taste the orange blossom water which reminded me of a creamsicle. Our entrees were the Laziz salad and Lebanese platter. Both were very good. I ordered the kafta with the Lebanese platter and was surprised with the heat. It wasn't overpowering but added to the flavor and the yogurt cucumber sauce was a nice balance for the heat. The Laziz salad was very good. The dressing was to die for. We enjoyed our visit to Laziz and would definitely return. If you want take out they offer that as well. We saw a lot of food delivery people coming in and picking up orders. Prices are reasonable.
This place has an extremely warm & welcoming vibe to it, especially for diverse groups. I found the ambience to be engaging & inviting, along with kind servers. Menu is reasonably large, food was flavorfully yum & service prompt. My recommendations are - Muhammara dip, Sweet potato fries and the Croissant Beignets. For the price, some may want the portion sizes to be bigger but they worked perfectly for me. I'm gonna visit again to give few other dips a try!😀🤤
Laziz Kitchen totally surprised me in the best way! I love finding spots that feel unique, and this one really delivers. The food is full of flavor and creativity, with a delicious Lebanese touch in every bite. The hummus sampler a must! I recommend the Muhammara and the beet dip! 😍 Honestly, I could eat just that for my whole meal 😂. The zaatar fries were 10/10 and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a truly all-inclusive vibe that makes everyone feel welcome. You have to give this place a try, it’ll quickly become a favorite!
