Seasons Market & Cafe
4125 2nd Ave, Detroit, MI
Crema's Take
“Seasons Market & Cafe is a beloved neighborhood gem that seamlessly blends a specialty coffee bar with a carefully curated organic market, creating a genuine third space where you can linger over a stellar cold brew, work for hours, and leave with groceries and a full heart. The team here—genuinely kind owners and staff—have built something special that feels less like a transactional coffee shop and more like a community hub, complete with a garden where you can sip wine or beer alongside fresh, healthy food like their standout chickpea bowls. It's the kind of place where you walk in for coffee and end up discovering exactly what you needed, whether that's a half loaf of artisanal bread, a moment of calm, or proof that good business can nourish both body and soul.”

Great spot for coffee and a small bite, as well a very nice healthy and organic shop. Would recommend and would visit again.
Wonderfully friendly staff. Great drinks and food. I generally grab a drink, study for a bit, and then get a few groceries to take home. It's great to be able get just a half loaf of bread so that it's always fresh. The adjoining garden is beautiful.
When this place opened, my life became so much healthier. The employees/owners are so kind! When they first opened, I was told they would accept bridge cards. I was the first to test out their bridge card POS system. I can't tell you how much it meant to me to have healthy food while I was disabled and poor. On top of that, they have a beautiful garden area where you can enjoy your barista-made cappuccino. Upstairs is where I used to do work with a beautiful view of downtown. I went there a lot when I was going through a difficult time healing from hand surgery. Pleasantness all around. Love love this place.
I love their cold brew and their chickpea bowls!!! You gotta get a chickpea bowl, you won’t regret it. My roommate got me one on our way out of town and it was outstanding. They also have delicious croissants (I ate it before I took the photo) and a great variety of snacks and drinks and produce. I usually get their Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches and love them. The upstairs seating is also so great, and the outdoor seating is beautiful. Nothing but wonderful things to say about this place.
Very cute little market with beer on tap and wine to drink in the garden. Great selection of fresh produce, food and drink.
