TOGO COFFEE 土狗咖啡 (San Gabriel)
120 E Valley Blvd ste b, San Gabriel, CA
Crema's Take
“Tucked in San Gabriel, this vibrant spot celebrates creativity across both coffee and tea with an impressively expansive menu of signature drinks that go beyond the usual café fare—think pear matcha, osmanthus jasmine latte, and grape jasmine tea that transport you straight to nostalgic market moments. The generous portions at reasonable prices (including a 1L size option) paired with a striking giant coffee bean wall installation make it a destination worth exploring, though some customers note the flavored tea drinks can occasionally lean a bit dilute. With consistently high ratings and a dedicated following drawn to their inventive approach, it's the kind of place that rewards repeat visits as you work your way through their creative menu.”

wide selection of drinks. i got the pear matcha and the flavor was good - i just wished there was more matcha as it was dilute. will definitely be back.
This spot looked new with interesting drinks and had high reviews so my fiance and I decided to try it. We ordered a minty coconut latte and cloud guava. Unfortunately these were probably the worst drinks we’ve had in the 626 in a very long time. So bad we both had to toss our drinks. Both drinks had really strong syrup-y after tastes that left an unpleasant smell in our mouths. It tasted very heavy, unnatural, and artificial. He was hoping for a more natural mint coffee like what 7 Leaves’ mint coffee is like, but it was anything but. There was no tea taste at all in the cloud guava, I could only taste the heavy guava syrup. I would expect this if I went to somewhere cheap like Quickly’s, but these drinks weren’t exactly cheap either. I debated leaving a review but seeing all these really high reviews made me wonder then I saw someone said they were giving out freebies for 5 star reviews 🤔 I hope they can improve upon their recipes but until then we will continue going to our old reliable spots.
I love giant coffee bean on the wall! I got the grape jasmine tea and it reminds me of a nostalgic drink from the market. It’s more on the tea side rather than sweet.
I really like this place because of their huge menu and all the creative drinks!! Prices for large and the 1L size are really reasonable. I like the pear matcha and the osmanthus jasmine latte. There’s a small bench to sit and window stools but it’s definitely tight quarters.
This place is super popular in Canada. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. They’re known for their coffee but I’m still in my matcha girlie era so I got their pear matcha and Kyoho grape milk. Y’all know at a drink spot I always gotta get me some pastires to so I got their chocolate chip cookie and kouin aman to try too. The kouin aman was huge, buttery, crisp, layered, and not too sweet. The cookie was eh. Had good chunks of chocolate but was pretty crumbly and a bit dry. The pear matcha was light, smooth, and perfectly sweet. There was some pear pieces at the bottom but the matcha overpowered it. The kyoho grape milk was like the flavor of those Japanese grape gummies in milk form but not too sweet. Pretty yummy. They’re also running this promo that if u give them a 5 star review on google you can get these super cute sticker sheet which obviously I did. But they deserve it cuz Overall this place is pretty good
