Wharfside Cafe
295 Ocean Blvd, Hampton, NH
Crema's Take
“Tucked into the Ashworth By The Sea hotel in Hampton, Wharfside Cafe is a breakfast-focused destination where made-to-order omelets and generous portions arrive alongside genuinely excellent Bloody Marys and a waterfront view that feels like a treat in itself. The staff—Diane, Mira, Kim, and Johnny earn repeated mentions for their warmth and attentiveness—make this a place where locals keep returning, even if Saturday mornings mean you might wait a bit for that perfect breakfast cooked just for you.”

I’ve been to Hampton Beach over and over and I just discovered this place today. Everything about it was perfect. The breakfast couldn’t have been better and the service by Diane was outstanding. The ambience was great.
I had the opportunity to stay at the Ashford Hotel and dine at Wharfside Cafe for breakfast on Saturday morning. However, my experience was impacted by a lengthy 50-minute wait, followed by a further 30-minute delay in receiving beverages. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations, with my toast being overcooked and my coffee being forgotten. And it wasn’t that busy. Despite the cafe's clean and welcoming atmosphere, the overall experience was underwhelming. Moreover, I encountered a 20-minute delay in receiving the check, which added to my frustration. As a result, I would not plan to return.
Visited Aug 25-28. Really busy breakfast spot. Food does take a bit longer, but all made to order. Perfect bloodies. Huge portions, very good food. Have to give a shout out to Diane. The restaurant was slammed, she worked it and made it a good experience. Will go back, but before 9AM.
Came in yesterday and everything was so wonderful we returned again today. Food was fantastic, view was great and staff was amazing. Mira, Diane, Kim, and Johnny were fabulous. They shared different hot spots in area to visit and shared stories about the strip. Already planning our 2026 vacation to Hampton Beach. Thank you for helping us make our vacation so memorable. We will be back
This cute cafe is part of Ashworth By The Sea and it is for breakfast only as the entrance door is locked from entry promptly at 11am. We went here this last week, and I had a Western Omelete while my wife type individual had the Hungry Sailor. The food was good and our sever Mira did a great job. The prices seem reasonable as they’re in line with places we go to back home that are not in a vacation/tourist area. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast if you are at Hampton Beach.
