Coal Creek Coffee
110 E Grand Ave, Laramie, WY
Crema's Take
“Tucked conveniently close to downtown Laramie's shops and hotels, this cozy spot has built a loyal following for its comically generous double lattes and rotating selection of house-made pastries that locals genuinely rave about, like their standout chai donuts. The vibe here is genuinely peaceful and unhurried—a place where regulars settle in with their work while visitors feel equally welcome to linger, making it feel more like a community gathering spot than a quick-grab chain. Fair warning: lines can creep past four minutes during busy times, but the friendly counter service and consistently solid espresso drinks make the wait feel worth it.”

This local coffee shop is very good and cute. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn which is super close to this coffee shop. Literally just a few steps from the front doors of hotel, so great location. I ordered their regular dark roast coffee and some pastries and all was delicious!!! Coffee was soooo good and I got another to go! The staff was super friendly, too. All smiles, kind, and excellent customer service! I will be making this a regular stop when I travel through from through Rock Springs,WY to New Mexico. Also, kid friendly! My kids loved the hot chocolate with whip cream!!!
Comically large double lattes that taste great, rotating selection of baked goods (chai donut is excellent). Excellent spot to stop and have a coffee in Laramie, especially if you get it to go and walk around downtown.
stopped in to get a quick cuppa coffee after visiting the music store next-door. Had a longer than a four minute wait, but the clerk at the counter was polite and got me out of the door fairly quickly. The roast was delicious.
Our visit to this coffee shop did not disappoint. It was peaceful and serene, as people worked and sipped their coffee. They paid no mind to us tourists snapping photos and admiring the Vintage decor. My Americano was smooth and delicious. This was worth the trip.
A cafe with good tea and good vibes. Service was quite slow when we came in on a Friday night; it does seem like the cafe gets pretty packed on the weekend, so plan accordingly. There was also live music if I remember correctly. The food was alright. A nice experience overall.
