A Cheerful Cup
3801 E Florida Ave, Denver, CO
Crema's Take
“Tucked inside the Belcaro building, A Cheerful Cup is a hidden gem where the owner Sheila's genuine warmth and infectious smile are as much a part of the experience as the coffee itself. Whether you're grabbing a quick espresso, lingering over a chai latte with a burrito, or settling in for a meeting, her welcoming energy transforms this modest spot into a place where regulars can't help but return daily. It's the kind of neighborhood coffee shop that reminds you how much a little human kindness elevates a cup of coffee.”

Shelia truly serves a cheerful cup, such amazing customer service and I always walk away smiling! I work in the Belcaro building and she's on the first floor, so I'm tempted to go in everyday. Shelia has great options - breakfast burritos from Little Anita's across the street, as well as fresh fruit, muffins, high protein greek yogurt etc. There is plenty of parking in front of and behind the building and a few small tables if you want to sit and enjoy your great coffee and goodies. If you want to support small, local business, A Cheerful Cup is an independent, black owned business on top of everything mentioned. Pay Shelia a visit, you won't be sorry!
Starting the day right! Owner was super friendly -- very true to her slogan of "coffee with a smile"! Got the Chai and burritos, would absolutely recommend. I will sing her praises from the rooftops!! Everyone go here right now🥳🥳🥳
This coffee shop is located in the Belcaro building and is definitely the best coffee shop in Denver, the owner is very cheerful and greets everyone with a smile and the atmosphere is very welcoming! Great food and beverages, a great place to grab your morning "pick me up"! Ask about the Chai, its one of my favorites, hot or cold its such a treat!
Great place to stop in for a delicious cup of coffee and a quick snack! Sheila greets everyone with cheer and kindness, truly the light of her business! Serving laughter (free of charge) as she makes your drink, I guarantee you will leave this shop with a smile on your face! :)
For those wondering, yes this place is inside the office building, and yes it is well worth you time to find it (it's not hard just follow the signs from the front door). Owner is one of the most cheerful people I've ever met, her energy alone started my day off right, and then I got the coffee! Coffee was amazing, not that bitter bean juice the big chains serve. Support your local coffee shop people!
