Crema's Take

Tucked into Taos, World Cup Café has earned a devoted following for their exceptional espresso drinks, particularly their silky lattes and the beloved Mocha Mexicana that keeps people coming back year after year. The intimate, cash-only spot buzzes with a welcoming energy thanks to genuinely warm baristas and pairs stellar coffee with house-made pastries and breakfast breads at fair prices. It's the kind of place regulars make a point to visit whenever they're in town, despite the cozy quarters and inevitable line out the door.

What to expect

Espresso-focused, matcha and tea options too. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Pastries on the menu. Cash only.

Husband has the Borgia and had a decaf latte with some of the free simple syrup and both drinks were delicious. Thankfully they serve decaf. I love the vibe of this shop, with great service and friendly locals.

We have visited Taos of many years and always go out of our way to experience the World Cup Café. Its unique atmosphere, perfect location, excellent location and great coffee, make it the most-do spot in Taos for anyone that enjoys a local experience.
