Crema's Take

Color Coffee's roasting operation right inside the café gives you that rare chance to watch Jacob's craft in real-time while sipping coffee that's roasted with genuine care and precision. The single-origin pour overs and espresso drinks are the real stars here, though their house-made pastries and light food offerings (like their standout avocado toast) make it easy to linger in this mountain town gem. Staff and quality are consistently exceptional, whether you're ordering a traditional cappuccino or exploring their specialty drink menu.

I ordered the Single Origin Variety Pack from their website, and it's proven to be one of the best ways to sample absolutely INCREDIBLE coffee! This is my first time trying Color, and man oh man, each offering they sent has been fantastic. They're sized perfectly- more than enough to dial in and get several tasty brews, but small enough to work through without piling up a coffee backlog. I got 3 washed coffees and a peach co-ferment, all of which were super expressive. Shoutout to the team for not only sourcing these coffees thoroughly, but also roasting them in such a way that it lets the terroir shine while offering wonderful sweetness. You've got a new fan!

I got a lavender honey latte iced with oat milk. There was more milk flavor than coffee. Also, I didn’t taste the two flavors I got at all. Other than that the little bit of coffee taste that did come through was good. The inside was super cute and I liked the vibe.

I visited Color Coffee Roasters a while ago during a road trip. I heard of the roaster from a coffee shop in LA and was excited to check it out. The roasting area is right inside the cafe and that is nice. I ordered a cappuccino, a scone, and a burrito, while I found the coffee and food to be decent, the service was a bit lackluster. The overall vibe was nice and relaxing, there were plenty of seats both inside and outside, with a beautiful mountain view.

Great coffee, tried an espresso and their yellow latte. Both great drinks. The avocado toast was great, not a fan of the Mexican chocolate chip cookie. Threw it out. Will go back again for coffee. Great vibe in shop.
