Madison Cold Brew Coffee

This is a fantastic coffee shop. I stopped in on a whim and was very impressed with the quality of the coffee and the general atmosphere. The coffee was fanatic. I had an espresso and a piccolo. Both were a light-roasted washed Ethiopian bean. The espresso was perfectly extracted, not too bitter or source. The milk texture was spot on, good latte art (I didn’t get a photo, whoops!) The space itself is modern, but still cozy and inviting. Very Scandinavian in design, lots of wood accents, with good natural light. The owner (Steven? Stephen?) was very friendly. I would gladly come back here, many times. I picked up a bag of beans to take with me! Oh, I forgot to add, they have sweet brewing set up (Mazzer Grinders and Slayer espresso machine 🤩). Great place for coffee nerds.

This is a cozy and bright east side spot to get coffee with friends. I’m a black coffee drinker and the light roasted coffee served in, of course a notNeutral Lino mug was bright, fruity, and delicious. The seating is limited to few tables and chairs but it wasn’t super crowded on a midday Thursday. Tough parking, so consider walking if you can. Baristas were super attentive and friendly. Will return. Great spot
