Penny Coffee Roasters

I’ve become a coffee snob. I used to enjoy dark roast. The darker the better. Penny only roasts medium and they have shown me that done right, it’s all you need, and the flavors are much more balanced and robust. Whenever I end up at a different coffee joint, I’m never as happy with the product. This place is the real deal. Good smells, great tastes with coffee and food, elegant atmosphere, friendly staff.

Great local coffee shop! They also just expanded their seating! I really appreciate the towels in the bathroom instead of paper towels.

What a delight to find a high end quality coffee shop hidden around the corner in downtown Kearney! Coming from Seattle where competition for craft coffee is high, Penny Coffee blew me away! I ordered a cortado and was impressed with the velvet creaminess and flavor. Locally owned and operated by Tim and his wife, this hole in the wall is worth driving out of your way to enjoy. Planting do room for private meetings or private musings in comfy chairs. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

Cute coffee spot in downtown. There’s a semi private room within the café to enjoy your coffee. Scones were delicious! Service was great! Barista had excellent recommendations. I trusted him to create a latte for me with Cookie butter flavoring. It was perfect!

Absolutely amazing little shop! A must see! Right now they have a fun festive atmosphere and extended hours even! I had the baked oatmeal and a double shot. I’ll definitely be back again.
