Ramblin' Joe's Coffee

I've been coming here for years and it has always been a nice little quiet coffee shop with great coffee. And while I'm glad to see they won best coffee in Memphis, the wait times are now longer and the quality has dropped. I wanted to try the Dubai drink and they gave me a mocha frappe with pistachio. There was no cold foam or kataifi as the drink image and description showed. I'm also saddened to see they now sell merch with AI imagery. Coffee shops such as this are usually very accepting of art and artists and to see them now profiting off of art theft is really disappointing as a repeat customer and artist myself. I really hope they consider supporting real artists and removing this slop from their shelves. Memphis is a very artistic city and deserves better than this.

Food and coffee are good. But they kinda acted like it was a problem when I asked for more sweetener for my tea (because it wasn’t as sweet as I prefer) they then said they “already made it sweet” and then offered one more pump of sweetener until I asked for them to just put extra in a cup on the side). Then they were out of jelly for the breakfast sandwich that I ordered…cute small place but staff could be more customer friendly.

I’ve been coming to Joes for 2 years now and I love the staff, the environment and the mission. I will always choose Joes coffee over anyone else!! The iced full moon is my favorite, and they have delicious breakfast sandwiches! Best coffee in Memphis!

My first time trying them! My co-worker had been telling me about them for quite some time, and I finally made it yesterday. The Fire-Roasted Chicken Wrap was excellent, and my White Chocolate Mocha was excellent! The service was okay. My friend with the pretty purple nails was so friendly. The lady with the black hair was not so much. No hey, how are you? Just somebody will be with you in a minute. Very dry. The spot is on Poplar, which is kind of hectic, and there aren't a lot of parking spots, and they are small. It also has a drive-thru, which I'll take advantage of next time. And they do have more than one location.

The crew at Ramblin Joe's won me over the first time I stepped into the building. Very queer friendly and welcoming to all. I used my chosen name (Roz) and the person at the front counter complimented it and asked if I picked that one myself or if it was short for something. Made my day! The food and drinks are delicious and the caffeine content isn't overly strong. Such a cozy lil spot with no stres to upsell anything. Thank you all so much for being awesome!
