Disapppointed. Drove all the way from Bright, Indiana to the store in Warsaw on a Friday early afternoon (when listed as 'open')... store was not open and had a sign that 'appointment only', directing to Findlay market ... update your website if that is the case
I ordered the Sandman Blend online, and received amazing customer service and some very high quality tea! I had questions prior to ordering, and quickly received a very thorough and kind email answering them all. The tea itself is very tasty and calming too.
Dope store, dope tea. Had a really lovely conversation with the employee that we spoke with yesterday. I didn't catch her name, but she was awesome! On another note, Foxy Shazam rules. 🤘
Wendigo is amazing tea. 5 years ago I wanted to switch from coffee to tea and hated the idea of using 3-4 tea bags a day. I bought couple disappointing oolongs from another tea provider, some puer from an asian market, but it wasn’t until I found Sky at the farmers market that the door was finally opened. Sky is wonderfully friendly and generous and has lined up truly delicious teas for his products. The skunk ape aged oolong was the first tea I tasted where I understood that there was much more to tea than what I was finding commercially in Cincinnati. I’m drinking some right now. After years of sourcing tea from all over China and deeply diving into all the styles, skunk ape is still my favorite tea I’ve ever had. The jasmine is the best jasmine I’ve come across so far. The jackalope antlers are crazy. They’re from Malawi, where some ex-British colonial tea estates are exploring more Chinese styled production. This white tea made from small twig buds tastes incredible and there’s nothing like it in China, so it’s cool that’s it’s so novel.
The short review: The vibe and aesthetic are exactly what one would both desire and expect. The tea is exceptional and their owner Sky is genuine, approachable, skilled, and happy to share his knowledge. The LONG version: This is the type of business you feel good supporting because they are good people committed to making their community a better, cooler place. Although you can’t make a poor decision, I recommend: Nessy Green Tea (Jasmine and Floral) , Skunk Ape Oolong (Funky in all the right ways), or their Siren Herbal Blend. I’ve been a coffee guy for a decade . . . Overnight, I was transformed to appreciate what EXCEPTIONAL tea tastes like. This is the start of something cool!
