Work nearby, stopped twice now for lunch and coffee. Salmon salad and turkey sandwich both excellent. Can’t miss with a cortado. Great service, clean and relaxing inside. Recommend as an easy work lunch or a quick detour from your walk around Lake Merritt.

We stopped by during one of the busiest weekends of Black History Month for the Black Joy Parade, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless. Yes, the line was long — but it moved quickly and smoothly, a true testament to how well the event was organized (they even had a bathroom attendant on site, which says a lot). We came ready to celebrate, and they delivered — wine flowing by the glass and by the bottle, good energy all around. What we didn’t expect was how easy it would be to settle in. Between the warm hospitality, the inviting ambience, and thoughtful touches like coffee and fresh pastries available to enjoy, we found ourselves lingering longer than planned. We loved it so much we ended up purchasing two bottles and staying awhile. Deshawn and his team truly exceeded expectations. It wasn’t just service — it was an experience.

Just found my new breakfast/brunch spot! Friendly service, comfortable and spacious interior, smooth coffee, and deliciously seasoned everything! A great place to knock out some work during the week and start the weekend off right with friends and family. A gem not to be missed! Avocado toast and breakfast potatoes are a must!

This is a great spot! Spacious, airy, clean, delicious food, great tables, chill music. Laptop friendly or good for a conversation. The home fries are dank.
