Crema's Take

Tucked into Tulsa, Magic City Cafe masterfully balances the quick caffeine run with the lingering afternoon vibe, serving up surprising culinary gems alongside their drinks—think perfectly balanced mole pozole and a legendary $9 steamroller that outshines downtown competition. The counter staff brings genuine warmth to every order, and there's something magical about how they consistently deliver exactly what you hope for, just better, whether you're grabbing a grilled cheese with goulash soup or settling in with coworkers for an unexpectedly excellent meal.

Wonderful lunch spot! Fresh, delicious and fast. Today I had the soup special, a mole pozole and it was so good. Not too spicy with carnitas and not too brothy. Club sandwich and mandarin chicken wrap/salad are always a healthy and delicious option. Owners are super friendly!!!

This is an amazing cafe, I am yet to eat anything I didn’t like they have delicious wraps! Great portion sizes. Somehow you get exactly what you’d expect just better.

I got the grilled cheese sandwich and the soup of the week which happened to be a goulash and it was fantastic! The two folks at the counter were incredibly nice and it’s so good to watch your food be prepared knowing it’s fresh! Extremely fast and filling for a reasonable price! :)

I had the steamroller. It was excellent! The meat was very tender and well seasoned and it only cost $9. I went to a restaurant downtown and had the same type of sandwich an in no way does it even come close to the steamroller, plus paid $19. The chef and his wife are very friendly. Will be back for sure.

Myself & my co-workers stumbled by the cafe & we were blown away by the taste, value & quantity of the food. My co-workers eat meat but I don't. I was glad they had vegetarian options! I've tried the salad, greek wrap, potato soup & the grilled cheese. Very kind husband & wife team. Wil be back over & over again!!
