Crema's Take
“Tucked into Detroit's underground scene, this cozy spot transforms throughout the day from a focused study haven into a vibrant social hub, complete with live DJs and Vinyl Wednesdays that create genuine community energy. The baristas clearly care about their craft—knowledgeable and passionate about both classic cappuccinos and creative specialty drinks—while the pastry case and thoughtful food offerings like herb-forward bagels elevate it beyond typical coffee shop fare. It's the kind of place where you can show up for a quiet afternoon latte or stay late into the night to catch live music with friends.”

Checked this place out for Vinyl Wednesday and it was a vibe!! The atmosphere is super cozy and the music was 10/10. Great place to chill during the week and listen to some live DJs
This is one of my favorite places in detroit. They are a great study spot during the day and an even better hang out spot with friends at night. There are several nights a week where they have little events like jazz nights on sundays. The staff is very inviting, the building is nice and warm, and it is always clean. The quiche is amazing too
I ordered a cappuccino and my friend ordered a hot chocolate. Personally I try to stick to basics whenever I visit a new place. Hot chocolate tasted as if it was made with chocolate syrup and not melted chocolate and I don’t prefer that taste. Also, I’ve had good cappuccino at Red Hook, Awake, dose.detroit that are not really that far. But I absolutely love the vibe especially the vinyl evenings. Must visit for a cozy date or fun night out!
Very cute and tasty cafe. The quiche was sold out, so it must’ve been good. I instead got the Parmesan bagel with garlic herb cream cheese and it was fantastic. I dare say it competed with Detroit bagel. The caramel macchiato was good, had a slightly toasted taste, almost like caramel brûlée. Overall, I am very satisfied. I work EMS and am usually in the area so I plan to visit again. I would like to try the quiche and an iced coffee next time.
Visited for an afternoon pick-me-up latte and boy was I in for a treat! After ordering a London fog latte with oat milk I so happened to get Harrison for a barista who is passionate and knowledgeable about tea, so much so he had an organic earl grey blend in the back that he made it with and it was HEAVENLY. He was so personable and helpful also in recommending restaurants for our dinner later in the evening. The vibe here is so good. Parking is tough but it’s a walkable area so easily accessible if you’re walking around town. We also hit up Bon Bon Bon for treats, The Nest for gifts, and Carhartt. Fun lil midtown date!
