Jeff's Motive Coffee is truly a hidden gem worth exploring. It was my first trip to Laramie and I didn't anticipate finding an independent coffee roaster in town let alone one with the talent and warmth of Motive. Not only was a hot black cup of his light roasted Ethiopian the perfect comfort on a blustery late spring day, his gracious and engaging demeanor instantly made me feel like family. He kindly neglected his roasts for a few minutes to regale me with stories of what draw him to this passion. Can't wait to grind a bag of Jeff's Guatemalan roast to share with my wife when I return home. If you haven't visited Motive yet, you are missing out!

Absolutely superb coffee. The best we have tasted in the US by far. And the owner was very friendly, yet totally professional. If we lived in Laramie, we'd be here all the time.

Jeff at Motive Coffee is absolutely the kindest human who roasts the most delicious coffee bean varietals. A locally-owned small business, I love to smell the enticing aromas coming from his shop when I am only a few blocks away. Grateful to have him in our community and that he uses bulk pricing for re-usable containers!

Motive has the best, freshly roasted coffee in town. With a broad selection of beans and roasts to suit any coffee-lover's taste, I think you will find something you love here. There is on site coffee bag recycling for those who have already enjoyed Motive coffee--and even better--if you bring your own container, you can likely forgo packaging altogether if they have what you want available in bulk. If you are looking for read-to-drink options, there is usually some freshly brewed coffee ready to go, and made-to-order pour over if you'd like to try something different.
