Crema's Take

Paradise Cafe commands a loyal following for its unbeatable mountain views and reliably strong breakfast execution, especially if you're craving eggs Benedict or their popular bagel sandwiches like the lox. The service is genuinely warm and attentive, making it feel more like a local gathering spot than a tourist trap, though weekend crowds mean you should arrive early or embrace a short wait. If you're in Crested Butte and want a morning meal with actual views and care put into it, this is worth planning around.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast on the menu. Family friendly.

Adore this place, visiting for the week and came here one day for breakfast around 10am on a weekday pow day. No wait to get in. Both the hostess and waitress were incredibly kind and helpful. Had the eggs Benedict sans muffin to make gf, although they have gf pancakes and toast…

Food was ok, I got the Migas. It was a skillet mash type of meal with chorizo, slightly dry with too much tortilla chips. The service wasn’t bad and the waitress was nice. It had a quirky fun inside but was really small and cramped. Long wait.

Very cute little bagel shop. Popular on a weekend, but worth the wait. We had the David and the Lox. Both great sandwiches, lox came with plenty of salmon and was a classic. The David was incredibly good, a unique breakfast sandwich.

I had a delicious eggs Benedict with salmon. I had a great view sitting across from the bar next to a large window looking out to the mountain. The waitress was great and friendly.

Small little diner style breakfast place. Cute atmosphere, good food. Please note it is rather small and only has one waitress, so wait times for seats, food, and the check were a bit longer than expected. Highly recommend the Mexican coffee!
