Crema's Take
“This beloved Vietnamese dessert spot crafts made-to-order chè drinks and fresh pastries that strike an impressive balance between indulgent and refreshing, with standout creations like silky tofu-based drinks, vibrant sugar cane beverages, and creamy avocado concoctions that keep regulars coming back. The team takes their ingredients seriously, preparing everything fresh in-house, and calling ahead is smart since their popularity means the cozy spot fills up quickly, especially during celebrations like Lunar New Year. It's the kind of neighborhood gem where Vietnamese families and curious newcomers alike discover that specialty desserts don't have to be overly sweet to be truly memorable.”

My favorite place to get Vietnamese desserts! All of the desserts are freshly made in house. They only make it when you order it. Tip: if you know what you are ordering call over the phone. It's usually ready by the time you pick up. There are often long lines and I prefer pre-ordering my drinks. I also tried their food. It's pretty tasty too! My favorites are the Coconut cream + tofu and pennywort with either fresh coconut or coconut cream. They also have fresh coconut jelly in their fridge and many other jelly desserts. Their drinks and food are quite consistence in quality. The only cons: no parking or long waits. Besides that I highly recommend them!
If you’re looking for a guilt-free way to satisfy your sweet tooth, Chè Dessert in Seattle is a must-visit. It’s a refreshing take on traditional Vietnamese desserts that prioritizes quality ingredients without sacrificing flavor. Our Experience We tried the Halo Halo and the Durian Mung Bean, and both were fantastic. Flavpr and textures were spot on! Che Desserts stan out for a number of reasons: Quality Ingredients: A huge plus is that they use real sugar and real coconut milk, avoiding the artificial syrups or powdered creamers often found elsewhere. Customizable Sweetness: This is a game-changer for the health-conscious. You can order your treats with zero sugar or choose a specific sweetness level that fits your preference. Dietary Friendly: Because of their focus on real, plant-based ingredients like coconut milk, it’s a great spot for those looking for dairy-free or cleaner dessert options. Final Verdict It’s rare to find a dessert spot that feels both indulgent and "clean." Whether you're a durian lover or looking for a classic Halo Halo, this is a top-tier choice in Seattle.
I got the Che Dau Huu Thap Cam… the most delicious drink ever. Super fresh and creamy tofu, toppings were tasty, and overall not too sweet. Balanced flavored, so so good.
Love this place, especially the sugar cane drinks - love the watermelon! Also the Avocado chunk here is the bomb YUM. Nice people, I come here fairly frequently with my Vietnamese coworkers. Highly recommend
I visited Che Dessert for the first time yesterday after my favorite spot next door was closed for Lunar New Year. Since it was the only place open, it was extremely busy and a bit hectic inside. At first, I stood in the line area, assuming that’s where orders were placed, but a kind couple directed me to the actual ordering spot—there were no signs indicating where to order, which made it a bit confusing. The atmosphere was festive, with lanterns and vibrant red decorations everywhere. Nearly every customer was dressed in red, celebrating the holiday. I ordered the smashed young coconut dessert and asked the cashier for their most popular drink—he recommended the Rainbow, so I added that to my order. The wait was over 20 minutes due to the holiday rush, but I appreciated that they were open when most places were closed. The smashed young coconut dessert was absolutely delicious, and I’d definitely return just for that. My husband enjoyed the Rainbow dessert—it reminded him of a Cham dessert his mom makes, which made it even more special. Despite the chaos, I’m glad I gave this place a try, and I’d come back again!
