Ding Tea Tierrasanta
10601 Tierrasanta Blvd, San Diego, CA
Crema's Take
“This Tierrasanta gem brings genuine warmth to every visit, with owners who go above and beyond to make customers feel welcomed—they've even hosted photo shoots for guests. Their Brown Sugar Coffee Latte, made with Vietnamese coffee and crowned with caramelized brown sugar foam, is the kind of signature drink that keeps people coming back, and the freshly made pastries like their Mille Vanilla Crepe add another layer of appeal. The space feels brand new and impeccably maintained, making it the perfect spot to linger with friends or family while sipping creative drinks that go beyond typical boba shop fare.”

I picked up a Brown Sugar Latte because I wanted some coffee. The latte came with Vietnamese coffee. I had it with two percent milk, and no added sweetener, other than the brown sugar foam on top. Once the foam on top was mixed in with the coffee below, the latte was delicious. I liked it premixed, too, but it was strong because it was Vietnamese Coffee, but good by the way. I liked my purchase. The lady working the shop was very nice and friendly. She had a good sense of humor. They offer good inside seating. They also offer waffles and baked goods. I was unaware that Ding Tea did such a thing. Good call.
The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming—they even allowed us to do a quick photo shoot inside, which was so thoughtful and made the visit extra special. The store itself is absolutely adorable, clean, and cozy, making it the perfect spot. Their boba drinks are not only delicious but also priced very reasonably, which makes it even better. Great vibes, great drinks, and wonderful people running the place—I’ll definitely be coming back!
I’ve been to many boba shops and this one has to be the most friendly one. I ordered a brown sugar coffee latte and a Mille Vanilla Crepe. When i arrived, the order wasn’t ready. The owner greeted me and apologized for the delay right away. She immediately offered to upgrade my order to a size Large and added boba. Thank you for the treat! The coffee and crepe were good. The boba texture was not very chewy/hard. I can’t wait to try other drinks. The space is big and clean. The price is reasonable. I’ll definitely visit again soon.
Clean place and friendly staffs. The place is is new & I hope they can maintain their cleanliness. Staffs are nice, the lady served my drink while I was sitting instead of calling out my number. I was pregnant so I think she was giving me courtesy, and I really appreciate that. I was really craving for Boba that day lol. Glad we gave them a try. The boba is good as expected, the only thing I can suggest for a room of improvement is that they have to melt the powder better. Aside from that , everything is good and this will be my go to spot everytime I'm in the area. Wishing this branch a success! Keep up the good work!
Yummy drinks & friendly staff! A boba shop is a welcome addition to the plaza. Cups have semi-rounded bottoms so use common sense and place them in your car cup holder. Cheers!
