Haymarket

Crema's Take
“Haymarket is a thoughtfully curated sanctuary where specialty coffee meets artisan pastries, fresh bread, and a charming garden shop in one peaceful outdoor-centric space. Whether you're lingering over a matcha or grabbing a breakfast sandwich, the intentional attention to detail—from the beautiful garden areas to the carefully selected market items—makes this feel less like a typical coffee shop and more like a cherished neighborhood discovery. It's the kind of place where families, remote workers, and weekend wanderers all feel equally at home.”

Haymarket is the perfect hidden gem in Kentucky! I have been enjoying this place since it first opened and have never been disappointed. From their beautiful outdoor spaces, artisan bakery items, fresh produce and wonderful customer service, this is a most visit. I love using this as my work from office when the weather is nice and you can't beat their fresh cafe goods. A special shout out to Richard and Joanie who are some of my favorite people to chat with when I am there.
I love Haymarket!! It’s the most peaceful place to grab coffee or get some work done, and they always have fresh, healthy, fun food. I go at least once a week for fresh bread and my favorite matcha. Miranda is so kind—I came late and she gave me my sourdough loaf for free! 10/10 favorite spot in Lou
Such a nice spot to grab coffee, pastries, or sandwiches plus shop their delicious market options. Tons of outdoor seating plus a garden shop that is lovely to visit.
What a darling discovery! We are staying on river road for a few days for a family event. Stopped in for coffee and breakfast sandwiches and instantly feel in love. So many unique items in the grocery, delicious prepared foods, yummy tea and coffee, and the fresh vegetables made me want to create in the kitchen! I just wished we had a Haymarket near us in Charlotte NC ❤️
Stopped by on accident and so glad we did. Intentional, thoughtful, carefully curated- not a single detail was overlooked. Davis and Anthony at the garden shop were especially helpful and knowledgeable. Will make it a point to stop by here for fresh bread, a coffee and whatever is in bloom next time (every time) we’re in Louisville. 11/10
