Cafe Du Monde MSY New Orleans Airport
1 Terminal Dr, Kenner, LA
Crema's Take
“This iconic New Orleans institution brings the French Quarter's legendary beignet tradition right to the airport, where you can grab pillowy-soft pastries dusted with powdered sugar and a proper chicory coffee before your flight. Jackie and the team here clearly take pride in treating every customer like family, turning a quick airport stop into a genuine taste of New Orleans history and hospitality. If you're celebrating something special or just want to honor the city's coffee culture one last time before leaving, the fresh beignets and traditional café au lait deliver that authentic experience that's made Café du Monde a must-do for over 150 years.”

We met the most beautiful soul - Jackie was amazing! Not only were the beignets hot and fresh, but Jackie provided us with the best customer service.
Came to New Orleans to celebrate my birthday and wanted to fully soak up the history, culture, and most importantly the food. Cafe Du Monde was an absolute must, and it did not disappoint. The beignets are dangerously delicious… I swear I could eat a whole bag every single day The location near the French Quarter was very crowded and loud, and the line was extremely long, so we decided to try another location later. Time flew by during our visit, but we remembered there was a Cafe Du Monde at the airport, our last chance to finally try the beignets. They were absolutely perfect, and best of all, we didn’t have to stand in a long line. As for the atmosphere, well, It's the airport, plenty of seating A sweet and memorable way to end our New Orleans trip!
One last coffee from local tradition. They show off how they make their fresh beignets and I wanted some, but I’d already dined too richly today!
The beignets at Café du Monde Riverwalk are nothing short of amazing! Freshly made and served warm, they capture the New Orleans spirit in every mouthful. The only disappointment was the café mocha, which tasted weak and bland, lacking the rich, chocolatey depth one would expect to pair with such outstanding pastries. Still, the beignets alone make the visit well worth it.
It's the airport so atmosphere reflects my view of airports lol. Location inside airport is good though. Coffee is same as the one in French Quarter. The beignets are great and the pictures I posted don't do it justice. I love beignets.
